MEET JEFF

A Heart For The Community

Getting things done and serving people is in my DNA (figuratively, of course). Over my career I helped start a ministry to college students at Kent State University, restarted a ministry at the University of Maryland, mentored high school students and parents at a local high school and founded our local community church now located in Greenbelt. I’ve also been serving the spiritual needs of Members of Congress for the last few years.

We are a military family. My wife served as a Captain in the Army Nurse Corps and I recall days where we served many at Walter Reed Medical Center when it was located in Washington, DC. It was a privilege and honor to serve our brothers and sisters who also served and protected our shared values.

Serving others is my passion. Through our partnership with local high school students, we provide food and clothing to our local community every other week. As an example, during Covid, our church partnered with a local restaurant to serve nearly 1,000 meals and secured a grant which provided nearly 1,500 meals to others. As a pastor, I come alongside people during some of life’s most challenging moments to offer support, encouragement and guidance.

My work is also international in scope. Over the last 35 years we have served people in Italy, Amsterdam, Ukraine and most recently in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is the second poorest country on this half of the planet. I’ve spent the last fourteen years serving the orphans, those in prison and people in some of the most remote regions and unimaginable circumstances in Nicaragua.

I’m Standing With You And For You

because Enough Is Enough! Your current Representative has been in public life for many years and has moved to some of the most extreme policy positions in the history of our country. For me, representing you is not a career; it’s an extension of my ministry to serve and support you. I’m firmly standing with you and for you.

As your next Congressman, I’m asking for your vote on Tuesday, May 4, 2024
